Welcome to Jet-Alliance, where Shared Jet Ownership, also known as Fractional Jet Ownership, can become a reality!

Our History

Jet-Alliance was incorporated in August of 2000 by co-founder, Randall Sanada and members of his wealth management firm.  After experiencing the joys of aircraft ownership along with the challenges and responsibilities, Randall was intrigued by the progress and success of the fractional jet ownership industry.

Considerable research was performed. Industry participants (NetJets, FlexJets, FlightOptions as well as various start-ups) were studied in order to evaluate the potential for participation as either a fractional jet owner and/or as an investment opportunity.  Ultimately, Randall committed personal capital to a slightly different concept, shared jet ownership, and attracted private investment funds from family and friends. With Millions in capital raised, Jet-Alliance is thus pursuing an obvious opportunity to blend the shared jet ownership concept with a new generation of aircraft.

Aviation professionals with extensive experience were attracted.  In addition, Jet-Alliance invested in a start-up fractional operator, with Learjet and Jetstream aircraft.  The company’s primary focus however, is the shared jet ownership model utilizing the new generation very light jet (VLJ) aircraft due to the efficiencies they offer in addition to the latest technologies available in safety features.

On December 31, 2006, Jet-Alliance took delivery of the world’s first production VLJ; The Eclipse 500 Jet (serial number one), and became the first owner/operator of this new class of jet transportation. Randall is proud not only of the cost savings the co-Owners are enjoying, but also of the favorable effects on the environment due to the minimal carbon footprint and the extremely quiet engines of these aircraft.

Transparency:  In their investment management business, Randall and his team practice the concept of offering full disclosure, including their compensation for services.  Born of this same culture, Jet-Alliance has been formed with an attitude of full disclosure of all costs to its aircraft co-Owners and a clear identification of any compensation to the company.  As a co-Owner himself, Randall has designed the terms of the business arrangement with an eye on what is fair and reasonable for all parties.

Stewardship Attitude:  Another concept that was inherited from the investment management firm is their Stewardship Attitude.  When responsible for the management of someone else’s wealth or property, one must do so with an attitude of serving the best interests of the owner.  This includes optimizing value to the co-owners while keeping costs in check, and without compromising safety.

Going Forward:  Jet-Alliance is acquiring additional private jet delivery positions to increase the size of the fleet.  Meanwhile, individuals and businesses with the foresight to plan for the future are taking steps today to capitalize on the convenience and efficiencies of private jet travel.  Secure your position on our waiting list.
