JetAlliance Announces the Arrival of Southern California’s First Phenom 100 Jet
March 24, 2009 (Westlake Village, CA)—JetAlliance, the leading very
light jets (VLJ) firm, along with its affiliate jetAVIVA announces
the arrival of the first Embraer Phenom 100 to be based in
Southern California. On Monday, March 30th, they will present the new Phenom
100 to a special homecoming reception and viewing at Van Nuys
Airport. The Embraer Legacy 600 will also be available for viewing.
The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. within Van Nuys
airport's corporate aviation facility operated by Castle & Cooke
Aviation Services.
JetAlliance’s Phenom 100 joins a dynamic fleet of VLJs including
the Cessna Citation Mustang and the Eclipse 500. The HondaJet will
be available in 2010. These aircraft are offered for ownership in
California and the western region.
According to Embraer the manufacturer, the innovative Phenom 100 was
built based on “four vital principles: easy operations, simple
maintenance, outstanding reliability and extended economic life.”
The Phenom 100 boasts the largest cabin in its class in addition to
being a top performer. It has a range of 1,160 nautical miles and
reaches cruising speeds of 380 knots. Additionally, the new
technology Pratt & Whitney engines are superbly fuel efficient
making its carbon imprint significantly less than the other jet
classes.
Transportation has been jolted by the unpredictable fuel prices and
modulating economy. VLJs provide tremendous fuel savings which keep
operating costs low. The struggling economy has spurred a decrease
in use of private jets. However, the precious commodity “time” is
becoming even more valuable to executives and individuals of
wealth—even moderate wealth. As VLJs continue to prove themselves as
efficient and comfortable private jet options, their usefulness and
demand will continue to increase. VLJs serve everyone from the full
owner, to those with a shared ownership interest, to the charter
passenger on a tight schedule.
JetAlliance took delivery of the world’s first production VLJ,
Eclipse 500 serial #1 in 2006. With a growing fleet of VLJs,
JetAlliance’s aircraft management experience benefits its
shared-owner group as well as the fleet’s charter customers who have
the opportunity to be better stewards of their finances and their
time. The advantages of owning an aircraft are increased by being
part of a managed fleet that is assisted by economies of scale and
the opportunity for charter revenue.
